Dear Members and Forensic Professionals,

It is an honor to be elected to serve as your NCIAI President for the 2022-2023 term. I would like to thank the members for entrusting me with this privilege.

I am looking forward to working with the members of the committees to organize and plan future trainings and our conference. I would like to encourage our members to take advantage of the opportunities the IAI and our division provide for us to interact with each other and learn from one another. We have some excellent teachers and trainers in our organization. We must pass our knowledge and what we have learned from our own experiences on to the next generation of younger examiners and investigators.

I would like to thank our previous President, Kelly Moore, who is awesome, for her dedicated leadership this past term and her commitment to the NCIAI and its members.

I am excited to announce that for our next educational forensics conference, we will be partnering with the Georgia and Tennessee IAI divisions to host a joint conference at Harrah’s Cherokee Resort and Conference Center in Cherokee, NC on October 2nd-5th, 2023. This conference will be an excellent opportunity to share educational training and knowledge and a chance to network with the members of the Tennessee and Georgia divisions. All three divisions will be working together to make this conference extraordinary.
