Greetings Everyone!

What a great time we had at the 2017 Spring Conference! A special thanks to the Wilmington Police Department for hosting such a great conference! For those of you who were unable to attend the conference, you missed a great conference filled with fun and fellowship. I have no doubt that the 2018 Spring Conference will be just as great! Please go mark your calendars now for the week of May 14th (2018), to join us in Winston-Salem! Our committee is already working hard to bring you the best conference possible!

I would also like to say just how proud I am to be serving as your 2017-2018 President for the North Carolina Division of the International Association for Identification. Thanks to you all, we have a great organization that is already strong and is continuing to prosper! We are currently pushing 300 active members, and I have no doubt that by us working together we can see this number increase drastically.

The great State of North Carolina is blessed to have so many individuals who are both involved and committed to the field of forensic science, and the impact that you have on your community as well as your own respective agencies can never be measured! The job you do is an essential part of keeping the criminals from further victimizing the citizens of this great state. I would like to personally thank each one of you for your dedication to forensics as well as the North Carolina Division of the International Association for Identification.

If the NCIAI or I can be of any assistance to you, please do not hesitate to let me know!

God bless,
Bradley T. Whitaker
NCIAI President
